Late Sunday evening I was getting the itch to try out a bunch of techniques I had learned in some online classes. I asked around trying to find someone who could assist me as a model for the evening. Due to such short noticed I didn't expect anyone to be available because that's normally how it works. So I looked around online and got a brilliant idea. Animals, tons of people use their pets as models! You may not always get them to do exactly what you want but hey at the very least its a subject! 

Wait, one problem. I don't own any pets outside of my gecko Ziggy who has literally had the same facial expression since the day I brought him home from the store. Then I had one of those brilliant ideas, the ones that just come to you out of thin air. Everyone knows my love for fishing/outdoors anything nature and I am all about that! (If you didn't know, now you know) So I thought I would go catch a beautiful model to help me work on my craft. I set off to Holt's Landing State Park in Dagsboro, DE. It is one of my favorite spots to do any sort of fishing, expect for this time I was going crabbing. 

My fiance was ecstatic because I truly believe in my heart she loves them more than she loves me. If I ever get on her bad side I know to never bring her a dozen roses, my girl wants a bushel of crabs. It was a beautiful evening and I made plenty of new friends (as I always do) but sadly I got there when the tide was rolling out and most of my catches where little tiny babies. Except for this beautiful female below.
